Privacy Policy, PDX Group

PDX Group ("we", "us") is a strategy and operations consulting practice based in Montreal, Quebec. This policy explains what personal information we collect through pdxgroup.ca, why we collect it, and the rights you have under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).

What we collect

Analytics data (only with your consent). With your permission, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect information about how you use the site: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you interact with pages (including anonymized session replays via Clarity).
Information you choose to share. If you use our chat assistant or book a call, we receive what you provide — typically your name, email address, and the content of your messages.
Email address. If you request a guide or resource through a form on our blog, we collect the email address you submit.
Technical logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and operations.

Why we collect it

To understand how the site is used and improve its content and structure;
To respond to your questions and requests;
To send you a resource you asked for;
To keep the site secure and functioning.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to operate this site. They process information on our behalf and may store it on servers located outside Quebec, primarily in the United States:

Google LLC — website analytics (with consent);
Microsoft Corporation — usage analytics and session replay (with consent);
Netlify, Inc. — website hosting;
Anthropic, PBC — processing of chat assistant conversations;
Our workflow automation provider — routing of form submissions to us.

Retention

Google Analytics data: up to 14 months;
Microsoft Clarity session replays: up to 30 days (aggregated data up to 13 months);
Emails and chat messages: as long as needed to respond to you or provide what you requested, after which they are deleted.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and we apply technical safeguards (including strict security headers) to protect information in transit. Access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact derek@pdxgroup.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes affecting how your information is handled will be highlighted on this page.
